SHADES : Available in 15 shades.

PROS:

* packaging is classy similar to the Colorburst lipsticks.
* ultra-shiny and non-sticky
* lasts for about 4 hours with occassional drinking.
* does not dry out my lips
* a tube contains a lot of product!
* the paddle looking wand is pliable - its easy to use especially on the inner corners of my lips.
* good color pay-off especially the FIRE shade, I only apply a little amount for a very natural looking lip stain.
* yummy butterscotch scent!

CONS:
* may settle into fine lines once the color starts to fade (FIRE shade).


TIPS:
* even though the formula is moisturising don't forget to apply lipbalm underneath.
* gloss can be used alone or applied over lipstick.
* for hygenic purposes wipe with the wand with tissue after application.

I RECOMMEND THIS TO:
If you prefer non-sticky glosses I'm sure you'll love this...


OVERALL:
Call me weird but I prefer the sticky texture of Revlon Creme Glosses coz they last longer and moisturises your lips well compared to non-sticky ones but that depends on your preference =)

Maybelline Colorsensational Cream Gloss

PRODUCT INFO from Maybelline:

Full coverage color, sophisticated shine and creamier feel from pure pigments and nourishing honey nectar.

RETAIL PRICE: $11 for a pack of 3. Bought at Duty Free (Waterfront Cebu branch).

WEIGHT: 6.8 grams each

SHADES : Available in more than 10 shades.

PROS:
* packaging looks expensive hehe

* i love the small tip wand, and its so easy to use especially the inner corners of my lips.

* glides easily and does not feel heavy on the lips

* all 3 shades are shimmery. It goes sheer at first but color can be build up.

* smells nice!

* tube contains a LOT of product, for reference MAC Lipglass only has 4 ml.

* decent staying power

* non-drying

CONS:

* This 3 pack lipgloss is only sold at selected Duty Free stores.

* I prefer sticky glosses coz they last longer, but even though these are not as sticky as MAC Lipglass and Revlon Creme gloss, I still love it!

TIPS from Maybelline:

* Use the wand to apply lipgloss starting in the center of your upper lip. Work from the center to the outer edges of your lips, following the contour of your mouth. Follow the same technique for your lower lip.

ADDICTION FACTOR:

Is it obvious I really LOVE glosses?! LOL I want to purchase other shades but too bad these are the only shades available.

I love the shine and staying power of MAC Lipglass but sometimes I wish its more pigmented - like lipstick. When Revlon sent me these babies, I got so excited and immediately played with them. Am I disappointed? Read on...

Revlon Creme Gloss in Patent Leather Pink, Crush on Coral and Peachy Sheen

PRODUCT INFO FROM REVLON:

The next-generation in lip gloss with both full-coverage color and extreme gloss shine. Collagen complex and light reflecting particles give lips a fuller appearance. Vitamin E and collagen condition for ultra-soft lips. Unique flow-through brush offers smooth, even application.

RETAIL PRICE: Php 475? Will verify.

WEIGHT : 1.18 ml

SHADES : Available in more than 10 deeply pigmented, high gloss shades.

PROS:
* the brush type applicator and the sleek packaging reminds me of my Stila Lip Glaze.
Pen type glosses are hygenic coz you don't double dip. After every use you can wipe the brush with tissue.
* consistency is thick - i prefer sticky and thick glosses (like MAC Lipglass and Lancome Juicy tubes) coz they last longer.
* i love the smell! Not too overpowering.
* staying power is amazing! Applied it at 1pm... occassional sips of water + snacks at 3pm, by 5.30pm the color faded a bit but I can still see a bit of gloss is still left and my lips felt moisturised.


CONS:
* you have to twist the bottom end several times during the first use. Sometimes I end up twisting too much and a lot of product comes out.
* container holds a little amount of product (1.18ml). For reference, MAC lipglass has 4ml.
* some may find the texture tacky - if you don't like sticky glosses.


TIPS:
Don't forget to apply lipbalm first so that the creamy formula glides easily.

ADDICTION FACTOR:
This is pigmented like a lipstick but with the shine of a lipgloss. Perfect coz i love both! This creme gloss saves me time when I'm in a hurry.

* texture is not as sticky as MAC's Lipglass but lasts long on my lips.
* makes my lips look plump & shiny
* wonderful fruity scent
* sheer but buildable color


CONS:
* not all shades are available locally.

TIPS:
Wipe the brush with tissue after every use. =) Can be used alone or layered with lipstick.

ADDICTION FACTOR:
Will not repurchase for now. Still have a LOT of glosses from Lancome & MAC (I'm a lipgloss addict haha).. I've never finished a single tube yet =P

Review : MAC Clear Lipglass

PRODUCT INFO from MAC:

A unique lip gloss that can create a high gloss, glass-like finish or a subtle sheen. Designed to be worn on its own, over Lip Pencil or Lipstick, Clear Lipglass is the perfect product for creating shine that lasts. It contains Jojoba Oil to help soften and condition the lips and a tiny bead of this highly concentrated product is all that's needed to cover the lip area.

TO USE:

Packaged in a convenient squeeze tube, Clear Lipglass is easy to apply using a lip brush. Clear Lipglass can be mixed with other products, like Pigments, and can be applied anywhere on the body except for the eye area to create interesting effects.

PRICE: $14 ( don't know the exact PHP price, around 800 I guess)

WEIGHT : 15 ml / 0.5 US oz

WHAT I LIKE:
* i love sticky glosses coz they last longer
* seals my lipstick for about 3-4 hours.
* packaging is squeeze tube, more hygenic than wand type glosses
* very concentrated, I only need a tiny dot for the whole lips
* VERY, VERY glossy finish!
* doesn't dry my lips.. my lips feel moisturised even if it wears off.
* scent : with a SLIGHT hint of vanilla just like the MAC Tinted lipglass.

WHAT I DON'T LIKE:
* its expensive for a clear gloss, but worth it! I've tried several brands of clear gloss before, and I always re-apply it often coz they tend to dry out after an hour.


TIPS:
Squeeze the tube to dispense a tiny amount of gloss at the back of your hand, then use a lip brush to apply it directly on top of your desired lipcolor. Can be used alone or mixed with mineral pigments to create your custom color gloss.

ADDICTION FACTOR:
Will re-purchase after 38 years! haha.. Seriously, I had this gloss for more than a year now and still 3/4 of the remaining product is left. This gloss is very concentrated!

* love the tube applicator is hygenic compared to wand types
* 15 ml tube holds a lot of product (compared to MAC lipglass' )
* love the fruity smell

WHAT I DON'T LIKE:
* some are pigmented, some are not (Peche)
* much expensive compared to MAC


TIPS:

Can be worn alone or layered with your lipstick.

Not for now. Still have a lot of lipglos tubes to finish.

I really love NYX products! The Blush is super pigmented, I only need to tap my kabuki brush. Their Megashine gloss is non-sticky, pigmented and lasts for 4 hours while their lipstick is comparable to the high end ones.
So glad I bought these products for less than 200 bucks each!

KANEBO LAVSHUCA LIPGLOSS IN RS-01
(red shimmer)

RS-01 is a shimmery berry red color.

What I like:
* its shimmery like MAC's Lustreglass
* staying power up to 4 hours
* no smell or weird after taste
* pigmentation & color pay-off (sheer but buildable)
* kinda sticky - comparable to MAC Lustreglass
* tube packaging - hygenic compared to the wand types

What I don't like:
* nothing! =)

I hope its available locally.. I really like this gloss! =)

SHISEIDO MAJORLICA MAJORCA LASH EXTENSION MASCARA

This mascara promises to extend lashes up to 120x! hehe
That's the only info I have, can't understand their website coz its in Japanese! =P Lol!

What I like:
* comb type wand separates lashes to avoid clumping
* really lengthens my lashes
* waterproof

What I don't like:
* hard to remove
* not volumizing
* has a weird smell on the tube
* expensive for a mascara (costs approx. php 1,000)

I'll continue to use this though on special occasions that calls for a waterproof mascara. I prefer to use Maybelline since its much cheaper.

I also noticed, using Waterproof mascara everyday damages the lashes.

I'm the type of person that doesn't spend more that Php 600 on a mascara! Lol! Coz it only lasts 3-6 mos! =)

> tested it first on my jawline to check whether am allergic to the product (thank goodness i'm not). I'm NC20-25 in MAC, the color matches my skin but has a little pink in it. I dunno if this will work.. Still have to test this on my entire face.. **crossing my fingers**

Cover Girl Advanced Radiance Age defying Concealer in Light Beige
> used this on my undereyes.. I just love the consistency of this concealer! It feels so light and very easy to blend. The shade is almost similar to MAC Select cover up in NC20. When I checked Cover Girl's site, this product is discountinued na pala! =(
