Sweet headdress

This is what happens when you let me lose with and sewingmachine and lot of ribbons.

Cotton for base, and a lot of eyelet lace and satin ribbons. Sewn onto a small tiara.
Guess I have to sew myself a matching dress someday.

Just got back from work after being on leave for a week. I got Asthma, cough & a cold!
My cheek area really hurt due to sinusitis! Just went to the doctor for check-up and he gave me meds to take. I'm kinda okey now! Thank goodness after a week of suffering =)

After reading Martha's Blushing Bride post, I just wanted to share some details of my wedding last October 17, 2007. For those of you who are getting married soon, I hope you'll find this post useful..

MAC Select Moistureblend foundation (NC20) mixed with NC25 to contour cheekbones
Laura Mercier Loose powder to set makeup
Laura Mercier Brightening powder to highlight
MAC eyeshadow to fill brows (brownish shade)
MAC eyeshadows in Neutral colors for a natural look
Soft black eyeshadow to define lashline (mixed with a little water)
Shimmery white pencil/eyeshadow to highlight lower lashline
NARS Orgasm Blush
Soft pink lipstick from MAC or NARS? i forgot =)

I really like my makeup! It really looks natural on pictures and in person of course! He didn't use foundation on my neck area since he said it would look to obvious. He just used the right shade of foundation on my face.

See? He's really good! My face and neck color - MATCHED!

I really love looking and touching these brushes! Sooo soft!

My thoughts :

Powder Brush - perfect for highlighters and loose/pressed powders. The hair is soft and dense.

Kabuki Brush - so cute! You can use this for blush or loose powders for a sheer finish.

Eyeshadow Brush - the hair is fluffy, its to big for a crease brush. I use this for eyeshadow base and highlight color under brows.

Concealer brush - firm yet soft! I use this for cream concealer for the undereyes.

Overall:

I love them! A must have set.. Not that expensive too! And its kinder to the planet coz they use recycled materials. The brushes are 100% Vegan.

The Ecotools Kabuki brush hair are fluffier compared to Ellana Buki therefore, it gives sheerer coverage. =) I use my Ellana buki for blush application.
