Review: Kanebo Kate Blendzone Eyeshadow Duo

Kate Blendzone eyeshadow in GD-1

Product Info from KATE:
An eyeshadow palette with two shades that can be used individually or mixed, and can be easily blended for a fine gradation.

RETAIL PRICE: Php 780.00

WEIGHT: 1.6 grams

SHADES : Available in 8 shades.

PROS:
* non-chalky; powder is finely milled
* good staying power even without primer
* color didn't fade throughout the day
* sheer but buildable color
* creamy, easy to blend
* has a crystal-like see through window so that you can easily see the colors.

CONS:
* if you're not a fan of shimmery eyeshadows.
* KATE is not yet available here in Cebu city.

TIPS:
* use the sponge tip applicator if you want a heavier look, or an eyeshadow brush if you want a sheer wash of color.
* if you have oily lids, prime your lids before applying eyeshadow. I'm using Too Faced Shadow Insurance or L'oreal HIP cream shadow paint in Secretive.

I RECOMMEND THIS TO:
Anyone who loves shimmery eyeshadows!

OVERALL:
I usually prefer neutral shades when it comes to eyeshadows. The shades that I got are versatile coz it can be used for day or night looks. This is the first time I've tried an eyeshadow from a Japanese brand and I really love the its creamy texture.
