As you can see, Gaga is a tad darker than P11 but they almost look similar when applied on my lips. Both shades goes sheer at first but the color is buildable. Since Viva Glam Gaga is Limited Edition (LE), I'm glad I've found a cheaper alternative that is locally available.

Spend vs. Save : NARS blush in Angelika

Spend: NARS Blush in Angelika - Php 1,350 (Rustans)
Save: The Face Shop Color Nuance blush in PK103 - Php 395

Angelika is described as a "Cotton candy pink with gold particles"... weird coz the particles looks silver to me =P

They look shimmery on the pan but hardly noticeable when applied (see swatches).

TEXTURE & FINISH:
Both have silver shimmers, but Angelika's texture is much finer than TFS.

COLOR - PAY OFF :

Angelika - really pigmented; i only have to TAP my brush once or twice for it to show up on my NC20 skintone.
PK103 - sheer but buildable color

STAYING POWER :
I adore NARS blushes coz of its staying power, they last for more than 6 hours on me.
TFS on the other hand, lasts for around 4 hours (if I don't sweat)

They look similar in their respective pans but once applied PK103 looks cooler & less shimmery than Angelika.

FINAL THOUGHTS:

If you're looking for an inexpensive cool toned pink blush, I highly recommend PK103.

TEXTURE & FINISH:
Same intense matte black color almost similar to gel liners.

Both are really creamy but dries quickly.

COLOR - PAY OFF :

Both are very pigmented.

Swiped twice.

Rubbed 3x.

STAYING POWER :

Upper lashline - Maybelline & UD did not smudge the whole day.

Lower lashline - Both did not last long =P Smudges after an hour.

Rubbed 5x under running water. Maybelline didn't completely fade.

FINAL THOUGHTS:

I'm really impressed with Maybelline Eyestudio Liners, for the price they are really good. I highly recommend it! I also own White Pearl and Dark Purple (click links for swatches).

Spend vs. Save: MAC Pink Nouveau Lipstick

Here's one of MAC's best selling shade. I read famous celebrities like Anne Curtis, Heart Evangelista, Ruffa Gutierrez and Kriz Aquino have this in their kikay kits.

It is described as a Bright Pink on MAC's site
LA Colors Moisture Lipstick in Pink Parfait - Php 60.00

PACKAGING :

I love the sturdy black bullet case of MAC's lipsticks.
LA Colors has a clear "cheap" plastic cap that easily cracks.

WEIGHT :
MAC - 3 grams
LA Colors - 3.7 grams

TEXTURE :
Both are creamy but MAC has a drier texture compared to LA Colors that is a bit glossy when applied.

COLOR - PAY OFF :

Both are pigmented.

STAYING POWER :
Both lasts for about 3-4 hours on me without eating or drinking.

Pink Parfait is a blue based pink while Pink Nouveau looks a purplish pink in the tube, but goes bright pink when applied. Fig is a warm medium pink while Mauve has a purple undertone but not bright when applied - its a very pretty MLBB shade on me.

FINAL THOUGHTS:

I love Pink Nouveau but if you're looking for something cheaper Pink Parfait is an alternative. Plus I really love the glossy texture of LA Colors lipsticks, its very moisturing!

Both are made of glass jars.

WEIGHT :
MAC - 3 grams
Maybelline - 2.8 grams

TEXTURE :
MAC is a bit creamier than Maybelline.

COLOR - PAY OFF :

Same intense black color.

STAYING POWER :
(On bare hands without primer)
After a few minutes upon application, I rubbed it several times - it didn't budge or smudge!

When I placed my hand under running water and rubbed it twice, both liners smudged.
Maybelline smudged more than MAC, but hey- just a little bit!

TIPS:
Make sure to tightly close the jar after opening to prevent gel eyeliners from drying fast.

Other gel eyeliners I've tried:
Fanny Serrano gel eyeliner - dries easily after a month. Flaky texture.
Elianto gel eyeliner - creamy consistency at first. Dries easily too, making it difficult to use.

FINAL THOUGHTS:
Blacktrack is a nice gel eyeliner, but if you want to save a few bucks I really recommend Maybelline! Its a dupe of MAC Fluidline IMO. I've had this for more than a month the texture is still creamy.

I have Loreal's front page peach, when applied with a light hand it looks kinda similar to Orgasm but its more on the pink side..

Taos is a very pretty reddish-dark coral blush. When used with a stippling brush it gives me a nice warm flush! I prefer to use my Ecotools blush brush and gently TAP the brush once on the pan since its very pigmented. I think this blush will last me a LONG, LONG time!

They look almost the same on the pan, but see the difference when swatched.
Cheek is kinda pink compared to Taos, but when applied on my cheeks I really can't tell the difference =)

This is a comparison of the the eyeshadow quality, not the shade/color.

STAYING POWER :
Same (without primer)

TEXTURE :
Elianto is finely milled than MAC,
the latter has a chunky texture

COLOR - PAY OFF :
MAC is more pigmented

TIPS:
Be careful not to drop Mineralized / Baked products coz they tend to break easily.
To make eyeshadow colors look vibrant, you can either use an Eyeshadow Primer or slightly damp your eyeshadow brush (foiling method).

So which one is the MAC Studio Finish Concealer dupe? Read on to find out..

MAC Studio Finish Concealer in NC20 SPF 35 (7grams) - Php 870
NYX Concealer in a Jar in Beige (7 grams)- Php 250
VOV Cover Foundation in #2 Natural Beige ( 20 grams) - Php 500+

COVERAGE:
MAC - full coverage
NYX - light to medium coverage
VOV - medium to full coverage

TEXTURE & CONSISTENCY:
MAC - kinda dry; make sure to warm it up first
NYX - very creamy
VOV - is perfect! Not too dry or creamy on normal temperature.

FINAL WORDS (used on my undereyes)
MAC - love its full coverage but sometimes it creases. Make sure to blend very well. SPF 35 is a great plus too!
NYX - easy to blend but does last the entire day and does not completely cover my dark circles.
VOV - a muti-purpose product! Can be used as foundation or concealer. They say this is a dupe of Cinema Secrets concealer. Nice coverage but sometimes it melts/creases if the weather is hot.

For me its VOV's Cover Foundation..

Since MAC SF is a full coverage concealer, NYX didn't do the job of concealing my dark undereye circles. VOV for me is a great dupe and its multi-purpose too! Its cheap too coz for 20 grams you'll get a lot of product!

I really love NYX's Round lipsticks! They are really pigmented and creamy!

I really love NYX's blushes! (and their other products too!)
Staying power is good (about 4 hours) and its not that chalky..
I have 2 NYX's blushes, the other one is Desert Rose.
Both are really pigmented, I only need to tap my kabuki brush once or twice.


Other Inexpensive (but Good) Brands to Try:

Ever Bilena Blush in Shy - Php 100+
Ever Bilena Blush in Baby Pink - Php 100+
Fanny Serrano Blush in Angel Pink- Php 200+

I used Shy and Baby Pink, the former really looks like Dollymix so I gave it to my sister in law. Baby pink is a nice shimmery pink blush that instantly brightens my face.

Looking for a dark pink powder blush? Read on..

MAC Blush in Desert Rose (matte) - Php 1,200.00
NYX Blush in Desert Rose - Php 350.00


When applied with a light hand, both really gives me a flushed look.
The NYX blush isn't powdery and staying power is as good as MAC.


Tip for Fair skintones
Warning! Both are really pigmented.
You only need to TAP your brush once or twice.
Make sure to apply with a stippling blush or a kabuki brush, or you'll end up looking like a clown.

Swatched on NC20-25 skintone

As you can see, NYX's blush is more pink, while MAC is pinky brown.
When applied to my cheeks, I really can't tell the difference between the two.
