RETAIL PRICE: $12.60 on Sleek website.

WEIGHT: 12 x 1.1 grams

PROS:

* eyeshadow is mineral based

* palette is sleek and easy fits in your makeup bag.

* a mixture of 5 shimmery & 7 matte shades.

* good color-pay off even without primer (similar to the Carribean Palette)

* minimal fall-outs due to its creamy, buttery texture.

* amazing staying power

* minimal creasing on the inner corners of my eye

* all shades are non-chalky IMO.

CONS:

* not available locally.

TIPS:

* Use a fluffy eyeshadow brush with a bit of loose powder to remove eyeshadow fall-outs.

* The NOIR shade can also be used as eyeliner, just wet your eyeliner brush and apply the shade on your upper lashline. You can also use this to set your black pencil or gel eyeliner.

Review: Sleek Curacao I-Divine Eyeshadow Palette from Carribean Collection

Inspired by dynamic colours reminiscent of the Carribean, Sleek MakeUp has launched a Limited Edition Carribean Collection that combines 2 key Sring/Summer 2011 trends: 1970's beauty and bold brights to catapult you into that holiday feeling.

I will be reviewing first the Curacao I-Divine Eyeshadow Palette.

Product Info from SLEEK MAKEUP:

Jet off into paradise with the Curacao I-Divine 12 pc. Eyeshadow palette, a mix of bold corals, ocean blue hues, and tangerine brights. Sleek MakeUp's high colour pigmentation helps recreate the stand-out orange eyes rocked by Hollywood hottie Scarlett Johanssen and Pop Queen Fergie this Spring. Bright eyes are back; wear vivid sweep of coral or lucid yellow as seen at the Derek Lam and Peter Som fashion shows in 2011.

RETAIL PRICE: $10.50 on Sleek website.

WEIGHT: 12 x 1.1 grams

PROS:

* eyeshadow is mineral based, so lesser chance of allergies.

* palette is sleek and easy fits in your makeup bag.

* a mixture of 6 matte & 6 shimmery shades.

* really pigmented ; good color-pay off even without primer.

* minimal fall-outs due to its creamy, buttery texture.

* unscented

* amazing staying power; color did not fade throughout the day.

* darker shades can be used as eyeliner.

* minimal creasing on the inner corners of my eye (after 6 hours - not bad at all!)

Note: I have slightly oily lids.

CONS:

* not available locally.

* some shades are chalky (blue lagoon & screwdriver)

TIPS:

* Due to its creamy powder formula, I've noticed that it's best when you use a natural hair eyeshadow brush for easier application and to minimize fall-outs, if you don't own one you can also use your fingertips or the applicator provided.

* If your eyelids are not that oily like mine you can get away without using an eye primer, but if you have oily lids I highly recommend using one.

I RECOMMEND THIS TO:

Anyone who's a fan of bright colored eye makeup!

OVERALL:

The shades are really vibrant and pretty, but they are to bright for my liking... I prefer the Sleek Oh So Special palette for everyday use (will post swatches soon). Don't worry this palette won't go to waste, we are planning a photoshoot this month and I'm definitely using this!

ADDICTION FACTOR:
If you're looking for an inexpensive eye primer, I highly recommend SECRETIVE (for those with not so oily lids).

The eyeshadow trio shades are pigmented and the texture is non-chalky.
The shade that I got is perfect for the office & it goes well with any lipcolor IMO.

A closer look at the Ultimate Brow kit...
Complete with 1 clear wax, 2 brow colors, tweezers, brush and mirror.

Haven't used this yet coz I still have my In2it brow color.

Styli-style Liners
Swatches

From left:
Flat liner 24, Liquid liner, Brow pencil, Lip liner 24

To test the staying power, I placed my hand under running water.

Rubbed 3x.

Rubbed 10x! haha

MY THOUGHTS:
Brow Pencil in Taupe (Php 75) - I rarely it coz I prefer powder brow colors but this is easy to apply & the color didn't fade throughout the day. If you're a fan of pencil type brow colors I highly recommend this!

Lip liner 24 in Nude (Php 75) - creamy and glides easily. The shade is barely noticeable on my lips when used alone and it makes my lipstick & gloss last longer. I only use this on special occassions though coz I don't like the heavy feeling of wearing a lip liner. =P

Flat liner 24 in Blackest black (Php 85) - a waste of money! Its too dry and tugs my lids. Good thing I bought it cheap! This sells for Php 400+ at Beauty bar.

Liquid liner in Black (Php 100)- the marker tip pen is thin and its so easy to use! No racoon eyes during the day and its also easy to remove with makeup remover.

* shades can be worn alone or mixed with other colors

To prevent creasing apply primer first before applying this, then dust with a translucent/finishing powder using a fluffy eyeshadow brush (optional). You can also layer a powder eyeshadow on top for a matte effect.

*

PROS:

* smooth and silky texture

* glides easily

* pigmented and buildable color

* sleek packaging that easily fits in your makeup bag

* available in 2 finishes depending on your preference. I love the PERLE finish!

CONS:

* some may find it expensive for a single color eyeshadow

* it creased a little (see tip below)

TIPS:

I don't have super oily lids, I can get away without using an eye primer - but whenever I sweat, I noticed that eyeshadows crease a little (on the inner portion of my lid). To prevent this problem, I
recommend using a eye primer prior to application. It makes eyeshadow colors more vibrant (see comparison below) and longer lasting. I'm using Urban decay Primer potion (will post my review soon).

I'm in love with both colors!

^ Revlon Luxurious Eyeshadow in Peacock Lustre (Satin) ^

At first I thought that the color is too dark for daytime use. Boy I was wrong! It's a wearable color for daytime (or nighttime) use, I even wore it to the office. It's a versatile shade that suits fair to morena skintones IMO. For people with brown-dark brown eyecolor (like me), this shade will surely make your eyecolor POP!

^ Revlon Luxurious Eyeshadow in Black Galaxy (Perle) ^

Black Galaxy is a pretty color that it instantly intensifies ANY eyeshadow color. I always carry it with me, so I can easily transform my day makeup to night makeup. =) Just dab a little color on your outer-V with the applicator provided and blend using a brush. It can also be used to set eyeliner on your lower lashline to avoid smudging, just layer it on top of your pencil eyeliner. The color reminds of me of Lancome eyeshadow in Constellation, they look so similar.
