As you can see, Gaga is a tad darker than P11 but they almost look similar when applied on my lips. Both shades goes sheer at first but the color is buildable. Since Viva Glam Gaga is Limited Edition (LE), I'm glad I've found a cheaper alternative that is locally available.

SHADES : Available in more than 10 shades.

PROS:
* packaging looks expensive hehe

* i love the small tip wand, and its so easy to use especially the inner corners of my lips.

* glides easily and does not feel heavy on the lips

* all 3 shades are shimmery. It goes sheer at first but color can be build up.

* smells nice!

* tube contains a LOT of product, for reference MAC Lipglass only has 4 ml.

* decent staying power

* non-drying

CONS:

* This 3 pack lipgloss is only sold at selected Duty Free stores.

* I prefer sticky glosses coz they last longer, but even though these are not as sticky as MAC Lipglass and Revlon Creme gloss, I still love it!

TIPS from Maybelline:

* Use the wand to apply lipgloss starting in the center of your upper lip. Work from the center to the outer edges of your lips, following the contour of your mouth. Follow the same technique for your lower lip.

ADDICTION FACTOR:

Is it obvious I really LOVE glosses?! LOL I want to purchase other shades but too bad these are the only shades available.

PROS:
* inexpensive
* pigmented
* creamy and glides easily
* moisturising formula that doesn't dry out my lips
* colors are really pretty!
* no weird smell or taste

CONS:
* i noticed the color fades easily when I eat or drink, but I don't mind re-applying =)


TIPS:
* Even though this is a moisturising lipstick, don't forget to apply lipbalm prior to application. Apply lip gloss after lipstick if desired.


ADDICTION FACTOR:
I really love these lipsticks, its creamier than MAC lippies IMO! I'm planning to buy a lighter pink shade, already tested it at the counter but I forgot what shade it is =P

Bonbon pink - a shimmery medium pink, it doesn't look too bright when applied. Instantly brightens my face!

Coral pink - a no-brainer liptick. You can wear this with a pink/peach blush.

Review: Prestige Classic Kohl Eyeliner in White

I have been lemming of MAC Fascinating Kohl Eyeliner after reading Shen's review, but I find it too expensive for a white eyeliner. Luckily, my friend suggested Prestige Kohl liners. When I tried it at the counter, I was torn between the Waterproof variant (shimmery) and the Classic Liner (matte). I bought the latter since I already own a couple of shimmery white liners..

Prestige Classic Kohl Eyeliner in E-30 White

PRODUCT INFO FROM PRESTIGE:

Easy one stroke application glides on smoothly without tugging or pulling. The Prestige Classic Kohl Liner for eyes comes in sleek silver barrel with quick reference color matched end. Use Prestige sharpener #6002 for best results.

RETAIL PRICE: Php 275.00 or about $6 in Beauty Bar.

NET WEIGHT : 0.04 oz / 1.1 grams

SHADES : Available in more than 20 colors.

PROS:

* one of the creamiest pencil liner I've ever tried

* very pigmented and glides easily without tugging

* no shimmers or glitters

* lasts for about 4 hours when applied on my waterline. Other pencils I've tried lasts only 1-2 hours.

* no weird scent unlike other pencil liners

* has a clear cap so that you can see the exact shade

* inexpensive product that works! instantly brightens my eye!

CONS:
* none!

TIPS:

If you find this too pigmented, you can use a q-tip and gently smudge the color on your waterline. Another quick way to brighten the eye area is to simply apply it on the inner corners of the eye instead of lining the the entire waterline.

ADDICTION FACTOR:

This is my very first Kohl Eyeliner and I'm impressed! I want to collect more shades.

As you can see, all of them are shimmery except Prestige.

ELF is the least pigmented of the bunch, it hardly shows up on my waterline.

Fashion 21 is too creamy and fades easily but this is a good eye shadow base if you don't have super oily lids.

Maybelline is a also good if you're looking for a shimmery white liner. Staying power is great too! I also have the Dark Purple shade. Click here to read my review.

Review : Maybelline Clear Smooth Minerals Liquid Foundation

PRODUCT INFO from Maybelline:

Is a breathable yet full coverage foundation that gives a healthy luminosity.
Clinically proven: No oil. No Fragrance. SPF 18++ PA.
Dermatologist tested. Suitable for sensitive skin.
Made in China.

TO USE: Apply prior to sun exposure. Dot on forehead, cheeks, chin and neck. Smooth with downward strokes until well blended.

RETAIL PRICE: Php 299.

WEIGHT : 18 ml

SHADES : Available in 4 shades.
> C02 Rose White
> N02 Shell Beige (matches my NC20-25 skintone)
> W02 Natural Buff
> W03 Apricot Sand (i have this shade in Angelfit, my mom gave this to me for makeup school, i think this fits NC30-35 skintones.

* Note: C stands for cool, N for Neutral and W for warm.

PROS:
* inexpensive
* its mineral makeup with SPF
* no whitish cast on photos
* unscented
* feels lightweight yet covers minor flaws and evened out my skintone
* sheer to medium coverage depending on application (see tip below)
* does not cake
* gives a matte finish

CONS:
* does not completely cover pimple scars etc.


TIPS:
For a medium coverage, after applying moisturiser (wait for 5 mins to absorb), dot on forehead, chin and cheeks. Then I use a foundation brush to distribute and blend the foundation. To avoid streaks, I blend the foundation again using my fingers.

For a sheerer coverage, use a damp sponge in applying.

ADDICTION FACTOR:
Since Angelfit Liquid is already discontinued, will definitely repurchase this! But I love this more coz it has SPF and gives a matte finish compared to Angelfit (dewy).

EDIT: This is available in local Maybelline counters. =)

CONS:
* none

TIPS:
Dab a little amount of makeup remover on a cotton pad. Gently press the pad on your eyes, wait for 5-10 seconds (for waterproof mascara) and slowly wipe using downward strokes. I use 1 cotton pad per eye.

ADDICTION FACTOR:
I'm hooked! Will definitely repurchase the bigger bottle!

Waited for a few minutes for it to dry.
using a cotton pad with and a bit of makeup remover...

Tadaa... Waterproof mascara completely removed!

Since my Wet n wild Purple gel liner already dried out, was looking for a dark purple liner to replace it. Luckily found this baby on sale. =)

PRODUCT INFO from MAYBELLINE:

Waterproof, stays all day. Use as eyeshadow or liner. Applies smoothly, easily and evenly.

RETAIL PRICE: Php 359. Got it on sale for Php 287 =)

WEIGHT : 1.20 grams / 0.04oz

SHADES : Available in 7 shades.

PROS:
* very creamy
* easy to blend
* didn't smudge & fade during the day- applied this on my upper lashline.
* dual purpose - can be used as eyeshadow or eyeliner

CONS:
* need sharpening. It would be nice if this is retractable pencil.
* faded a bit when rubbed under running water.


TIPS:
After applying, let it set first to avoid smudging. Layer with an eyeshadow of the same color to make the eyeliner last longer.


ADDICTION FACTOR:
I wanna buy Black to use as base for smokey eyes and White Pearl to highlight or as an eye base.

* no racoon eyes
* very easy to apply, glides easily
* didn't flake
* inexpensive
* easy to remove with baby oil
* love the brush included (makes a thin or heavy line)

WHAT I DON'T LIKE:
* nothing! Will just observe if this eyeliner dries up fast in the pot. My Fanny Serrano Gel eyeliner dried up after 1-2 months =P

* EDIT 6/10/2010 - does not dry easily on the pot (had this for almost 6 mos now). I'm impressed!


TIPS (from box):
Please ensure to close the cap after use. Wipe the brush with tissue after every use. When stains are noticeable on brush, apply makeup remover on cotton pad and remove the stain from the brush and wipe it again with dry tissue. Leave the brush to dry.

ADDICTION FACTOR:

WHAT I DON'T LIKE:
* not available locally, but the Asian counterpart for this product is the Clear Smooth Minerals blush (Retails for Php 499). Click here to read Nikki's review.
* since this is mineral makeup in loose form, expect this to be messy if you plan to take this along.

TIPS:
I'm using a baby kabuki brush from Ellana. Put a little blush into the cap and slowly swirl the brush to distribute the color. Sweep onto cheeks and slowly layer if you want more color.

ADDICTION FACTOR:
Will not repurchase soon coz I think this product will last me long.
